Nobody feels comfortable selecting and confronting individuals and requesting that they be searched. This can easily lead to ill feeling between staff and management and even cries of victimisation.
The Search unit has been designed to relieve management of the responsibility of making this selection and allows everyone to " blame the machine ".
The Search unit will randomly select the request for a search to be carried out.
The unit can be programmed with a " selection factor ". This can be pre-set by management to determine how frequently a request for a search arises.
Members of staff are simply required to " press the button " and await the decision.
The unit announces the verdict audibly ( using the on-board digitally stored messages ) and visually ( on the LED display )
Incorporates 2 switchable relays to integrate with other devices such as Door release mechanisms, CCTV Cameras, Digital recorders etc.
