The basis of audio verification is to enable an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to listen to the premises that has signalled an alarm. This allows the operator to "verify" if the alarm signal is genuine or false.

Verification of intruder alarm activations is essential throughout the security industry.

Enhanced features:

Site Announcement:
A site announcement can be recorded onto the AV60 giving the central station instant audio confirmation that they have dialled into the correct premises.
Talkback
Two way talk (Talkback) allows the central station to communicate with the subscriber at the setting and unsetting point, should they make a mistake during opening and closing times.
Broadcast
To run along side Talkback we have a Broadcast facility. In the event of the subscriber leaving the area where the Talkback unit is situated, the C/S will be able to switch to Broadcast units sited around the building and request that the user return to the setting point to await further instructions.
Pass Code
The option of the C/S being able to enter a 4 digit code before going live to the site has been incorporated for extra security.
Command Announcement
Pre recorded messages are provided for a clear indication of all commands selected by the central station operator, e.g. the message "stored" will be transmitted when the operator selects the replay of the recorded audio.
Part Set
Using the Part Set option will allow the AV60 to select specific microphones in accordance with any area settings on the control equipment.

Remote facilities (from monitoring station)

Each audio channel can be individually switched on or off when "live".
Auto switch through each audio channel for 2 seconds.
Switch between live and recorded audio.
Extend “on line” time (normally 2 minutes).
Shutdown audio
Pulse relay for approx. two seconds.
Switch relay on/off..
Enter pass code to access audio from site.
Talk back to site live.
Broadcast a live message to site.
Playback site message (description of site in use).
Pulse output 1 or 2 for approx. two seconds.
Switch output 1 or 2 on or off..
